Built for teams that use AI to communicate
FILTERED scores AI-generated messages before they send — across your whole team. Individual accountability, team-wide signal, zero noise.

HOW TO FIX IT
"No named owner on the follow-up. Assign it or cut it — insights without accountability are noise."
The problem
AI tools make it trivially easy to generate a message in seconds. What's hard is knowing when to send it as-is — and when you've just outsourced your thinking to a model that doesn't know your context, your credibility, or your audience.
The slop is obvious to everyone but the sender. FILTERED puts a mirror in front of it before it's too late.
The individual cost
Every message you send under your name is a signal about how you think. When AI sends it for you, unedited, that signal degrades. Credibility is slow to build and fast to lose.
The team cost
Every low-quality message someone else sends costs your colleagues time. Reading vague updates, chasing down owners, parsing AI prose that says nothing — it compounds invisibly across every channel, every day.
The standard
FILTERED doesn't block AI. It holds the output to the same standard a thoughtful editor would. Three seconds to score. One clear recommendation. The rest is your call.
How it works
01 — Write or paste
FILTERED runs on every site with no configuration. Gmail, Slack, LinkedIn, social — wherever you write, it's watching.
02 — Hit send
Before your message goes out, FILTERED intercepts. Six axes, a single score, and one specific recommendation — in under a second.
03 — Decide
Edit once and send better, or override and send anyway. FILTERED never blocks — it just makes you think before you commit.
The score
No named assignments = noise. AI can generate insight. It cannot generate accountability.
Sounds like you, or sounds like a prompt? Catches hedging, filler, and unnatural sentence rhythm.
Over-bulleted, emoji-heavy, unicode bold — dead giveaways. Formatting should serve the reader, not the output.
Did you cut anything? Unedited AI output is always too long and too safe. Choices are the signal.
Is there anything personal here? AI avoids vulnerability by default. Real messages have skin in the game.
A Slack message shouldn't read like a memo. A LinkedIn post shouldn't read like an email. Tone matches context.
For teams
See communication quality across your team. Surface patterns, not just individual messages.
Know where AI output is being passed as original thinking — before it reaches a client or a VP.
Every message that leaves your organization clears a bar. Less noise. Less wasted reading time. Fewer vague updates that go nowhere.
Track score trends over time. Identify who's improving and where the team's weakest patterns are. Data you can act on.

FAQ
Does FILTERED read or store my messages?
No. Tier 1 scoring runs entirely in your browser — nothing leaves your machine. Tier 2 sends your message to the Claude API for scoring. The API does not store inputs. No data ever touches our servers.
Which sites does it work on?
Every site. FILTERED intercepts Cmd+Enter and send/post/submit button clicks universally. It's been tested on Gmail, Slack, and LinkedIn. If a site has a text field and a send button, FILTERED covers it.
What's the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 scoring?
Tier 1 runs instantly in your browser — pattern matching for bullet density, emoji overload, unicode formatting, and action assignment gaps. No AI, no API. Tier 2 sends your message to Claude Haiku for deep scoring across all six axes with specific rewrites.
Can I turn it off for certain sites?
Yes. The extension popup shows the current domain with a live toggle. Flip it off and FILTERED goes silent on that site immediately — no page reload required.
When does it launch?
We're in active dogfood right now. Chrome Web Store submission follows once the product is ready. Pro is available now at $15/month — early users get in before public launch.
What does BYOK mean?
Bring Your Own Key. In Pro tier, you can supply your own Anthropic API key — you pay Anthropic directly at fractions of a cent per message, and we charge only for the software. A managed key option is also available if you'd rather not handle that yourself.
